Shona sculpture is a type of art from Zimbabwe that is highly regarded. The Shona are a group of people who live in areas of southern Africa. The Shona make up more than three quarters of Zimbabwe's population, and smaller groups live in South Africa, Zambia, and Mozambique. Shona artists are famous for their stone sculptures, which are usually called "Shona" sculptures.
